How is it already nearly 2021?! As we race towards the end of the year it’s very busy here at Elevator HQ, packing up the last bespoke bridle orders of the year and shipping Christmas presents to our customers! What a truly odd year it has been. It’s safe to say that we would never have believed anyone if they had tried to tell us what this year would entail, but we’re lucky to have got to the end of it with our health and the business intact. That’s more than a lot of people in the UK have at the moment, so we are very thankful for that.
We are very grateful to all our customers and followers for their support during 2020. Every little thing, from a like, share or comment on Facebook to the purchase of an Elevator bridle has helped us survive the year. Thank you if you’re one of those supporters! It’s been very odd moving from a business model where we normally see our customers at events, shows and fairs to doing nearly everything via the internet. Instead of showing people how brilliant Elevator bridles are we’ve had to learn to describe them and share the benefits in social media posts… all very new!
Still, we’re hopeful that by spring 2021 the world of equestrian sport will start to open up, and Elevator will be able to hit the road once again to see our customers face to face. Perhaps we might even start to go back to normal life if the vaccination programme is successful, and how wonderful would that be? It was a sad day when we heard that Badminton Horse Trials would run behind closed doors in 2021 but that fact it is going to be on at all is a huge step forward from this year. Here’s hoping other events later in the year will be able to allow both spectators and the trade stands back.
It’s never a good idea to wish our time away but we have to admit that we are so looking forward to next year. There are some seriously exciting new Elevator products which we will launch in 2021 and we can’t wait to share them with you. 2020 may have been a disaster in many ways, but it certainly gave us oodles of time to develop and perfect a breastplate and a new bridle design. The breastplate will be FEI compliant, something which will delight our sponsored riders and customers alike, and it’s looking fantastic. The bridle is our most researched and tested design to date. If you’re a fan of our existing comfort bridles, just wait until you see this!
For now, we’d like to wish all our customers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year – stay safe and well so that we can all have fun again in 2021!
